Job summary

Stillwater Skilled Nursing Facility is seeking compassionate CMTs to support residents, requiring an active RI CMT and CNA license. The role involves medication pouring, ensuring accuracy with prescriptions and refills, and coordinating with the Medication Supervisor and MDs.

Experience as Medtech is preferred, with post-secondary coursework in medical services or a college degree recommended. Full-time and part-time positions are available to join our aging population care team.

Qualifications

Must have an active RI CNA license.
Must have an active CMT license.
Previous experience as Medtech is strongly preferred.
Post high school coursework in medical services or college degree preferred.

Responsibilities

Accurately pour and endorse assistance with medication for each resident.
Ensure consistency between physician prescriptions, blister packs and medications poured for each resident.
Ensure timely and accurate medication orders and renewals.
Review medication refill log against stored medications.
Review “no-refill” orders and fax requests to MDs.
Review receipt, storage and documentation of medications delivered.
Communicate with Medication Supervisor for entitlements, prescriptions, and deliveries.
Maintain medical and medication information in residents’ files.
Report missing or refused medications to supervisor and case management.
Attend all mandatory in-service training programs.
