Job summary

Wellquest is seeking a Medication Technician to safely administer medications to residents under physician orders and the Health Services Director's oversight. The role supports resident safety, maintains accurate MAR records, and coordinates with pharmacies and physicians.

The position requires a high school diploma, completion of medication administration training, and at least one year of experience with medications, preferably with elderly clients.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Completed Medication Administration Course with passing grade.
• Completed all state-required medication training.
• At least 1 year of experience successfully passing medications; elderly care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate medication services with residents, pharmacy and physicians.
• Maintain accurate medication records and MAR sheets.
• Prepare medications for distribution and verify with physician orders.
• Assist with department scheduling and ensure compliance with Title 22 regulations.
