Job summary

Cogir Senior Living is seeking Medication Technicians (Med Tech/CMA) to provide compassionate care and assist residents with medication administration and daily living activities. You will work within a supportive team, ensuring residents’ comfort, safety, and wellbeing.

Requirements include a high school diploma, a state medication administration license, and 12 months of medication administration experience. Weekend rotation may be required, with opportunities for growth and benefits.

Qualifications

• Education and Certifications include a high school diploma or equivalent, plus a state medication administration license and first aid/CPR.
• Experience/competencies include 12+ months of medication administration in a professional caregiving setting, memory care is a plus.
• Candidate should have strong communication, attention to detail, teamwork, and a compassionate attitude.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily administration of prescribed medication per care plan.
• Follow documentation protocols and report changes in resident status.
• Manage medication inventory, storage, and coordinate re-orders/deliveries with pharmacies.
• Provide care and support with activities of daily living in a team setting.
• Encourage participation in life enrichment activities and engagement with residents.
