Job summary

Cogir Senior Living is seeking a Medication Technician (Med Tech/CMA) to provide compassionate care to residents, assisting with medication administration and daily living activities per individualized care plans.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Must have a valid state medication administration license (CMA/CNA/CMT/QMAP) or meet state requirements.
• Current First Aid and CPR license or ability to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily administration of prescribed medication per care plan.
• Follow documentation protocols and report changes in resident status.
• Manage medication inventory and coordinate with pharmacies for re-orders and deliveries.
• Provide care and support with activities of daily living in a team setting.
• Promote independence and engage residents through life enrichment activities.
• Communicate openly with healthcare professionals, families, residents, and staff.
