Job summary

Cogir Senior Living is seeking a dedicated Medication Technician (Med Tech/CMA) to join our Oregon team. You will administer prescribed medications, support residents with daily living activities, and work within a compassionate, team-based environment to ensure safety and comfort.

Ideal candidates have 12+ months of medication administration experience, strong attention to detail, and excellent communication. Weekend rotation may be required as part of a supportive caregiving team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must have a valid state medication administration license (CNA/CMA/CMT/QMAP/Certified Caregiver) or meet state requirements for medication administration in assisted living.
• Current First Aid and CPR license or ability to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily administration of prescribed medications per care plan.
• Follow documentation protocols and report changes in resident status.
• Assist in managing medication inventory and coordinate re-orders with pharmacies.
• Provide care and support with activities of daily living; foster a nurturing environment.
• Encourage participation in life enrichment activity programs and engagement.
• Promote open communication between healthcare professionals, families, residents, and staff.
