Job summary

Harmony Senior Services, LLC is seeking a Part-Time Med Tech in Virginia Beach. The role provides quality care and assists with activities of daily living and medication administration within scope of practice.

You will perform medication cart audits, document on EMAR/MAR, and coordinate with nursing staff. Eligibility includes CNA and Med Tech licenses, CPR/First Aid certification or willingness to obtain within 60 days, and the ability to lift 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• Must have High School Diploma or GED.
• Must have completed the Medication Aide Course.
• Must possess both CNA and Med Tech licenses in good standing.
• Must pass medication observations and cart audits.

Responsibilities

• Assist with administration of prescribed medications within the established scope of practice.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living.
• Complete medication cart audits as assigned and maintain the cart.
• Document all medication administration on EMAR/MAR and report exceptions.
• Re-orders medications and communicate changes with pharmacy and families as needed.
• Attend medication administration trainings and in-services; follow confidentiality rules.
• Support move-in transitions and respond to resident calls and emergencies.
