Job summary

Peaceful Pines Senior Living - Mitchell in Mitchell, SD is seeking a dedicated Medication Aide to support residents across Independent Living, Assisted Living and Memory Care. You will administer prescribed medications, assist with daily living activities, and document care with accuracy and compassion.

You will work closely with a nursing leadership team to ensure safety, dignity, and a positive resident experience, while following state regulations and community policies.

Qualifications

• Licensed in South Dakota as a Medication Aide.
• Willingness to complete on-the-job training if not licensed.
• Passion for working with seniors.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Dependable, team-oriented, and service-minded.
• Ability to provide care with patience, empathy and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Administer prescribed medications as delegated by a Registered Nurse.
• Ensure safe, accurate, and timely medication delivery following policies.
• Monitor residents for medication effects and overall response.
• Document medication administration and treatment in MAR and required systems.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living and safety.
• Communicate changes to the nursing leadership and care team.
