You will report to nursing leadership, document care accurately, and work with a team to ensure continuity of care.

Qualifications

• Licensed Medication Aide in SD or willing to complete on-the-job training.

Responsibilities

• Administer prescribed medications as delegated by RN per state regulations.
• Document medication administration in MAR and required documentation systems.
• Monitor medication effectiveness, side effects, and overall response; report changes to nursing leadership.
• Assist with activities of daily living and resident comfort.
• Maintain secure storage and proper handling of medications per policy.
• Coordinate with nursing staff for continuity of care and medication management.
