Job summary

The Bridges on Parkview in Henderson, NC is seeking a compassionate Medication Aide - SIC to assist our clinical team with medication administration and specialized elder care.

You will administer prescribed medications, monitor residents, and collaborate with nurses to ensure safety and quality care. State Medication Aide certification preferred; a high school diploma is recommended. On-site team environment with room for growth.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; state Medication Aide certification preferred.
• Healthcare experience, especially in senior care or assisted living, is preferred.
• Knowledge of medication administration, safety protocols, and infection control.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications as prescribed, ensuring proper dosage, timing, and documentation.
• Provide individualized care for residents, including assistance with ADLs.
• Maintain accurate medication records and report adverse reactions or errors.
• Monitor residents for side effects or changes in condition and inform the healthcare team.
• Store and handle medications safely following regulations and policies.
• Collaborate with nursing staff, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to ensure quality care.
• Follow all regulations and safety protocols for medication administration.
