Job summary

DaySpring of Wallace in North Carolina is seeking a dedicated Medication Aide to support residents' health through safe medication administration, monitoring health status, and collaborating with the nursing team. Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Completion of a state-approved Medication Aide training program preferred.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a healthcare, senior living, or long-term care setting preferred.
• Active Medication Aide certification in good standing with the state.

Responsibilities

• Medication Administration: accurately prepare, administer, and document medications per physician orders and protocols.
• Health Monitoring: observe changes, measure vitals, and report concerns promptly.
• Resident Engagement: build relationships and encourage participation in wellness activities.
