Job summary

Rose Tara Senior Living is seeking a compassionate Medication Aide - SIC to support our clinical team in administering medications and providing specialized care to residents. You will work closely with nursing staff to ensure safe and accurate medication administration.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• State certification as a Medication Aide preferred, on-the-job training available.
• Experience in senior care or healthcare settings preferred.
• Strong knowledge of medication administration, safety protocols, and infection control.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications to residents as prescribed, ensuring proper dosage and documentation.
• Provide individualized care for residents with medical needs and assist with ADLs.
• Maintain accurate medication records and report adverse reactions or errors to the supervising nurse.
• Monitor residents for side effects or changes related to medication and communicate with the healthcare team.
• Ensure safe storage and handling of medications in accordance with regulations.
