Job summary

Mint Hill Senior Living is seeking a compassionate Medication Aide - SIC to support our clinical team in administering medications and providing specialized care to residents at Mint Hill Senior Living.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• State certification as a Medication Aide preferred, on-the-job training available.
• Healthcare experience in senior care or assisted living preferred.
• Knowledge of medication safety, infection control, and documentation.
• Strong communication and compassionate care for the elderly.
• Detail-oriented with good organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications as prescribed, ensuring dosage, timing and documentation.
• Provide individualized care including ADLs and daily activities.
• Maintain accurate medication records and report adverse reactions.
• Monitor residents for side effects and health status changes.
• Store medications safely and in compliance with policies.
• Collaborate with nursing and healthcare team to ensure quality care.
• Follow regulations and safety protocols for medication administration.
