Qualifications

• Active 40-hour Medication Aide certification.
• Compassion, patience and genuine desire to work with older adults.
• Dependable and reliable in a team environment.
• Clear communication with residents, families, nurses and teammates.
• Attention to detail, especially with medications and documentation.
• Comfort with using basic computer tools for medication tracking.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications safely according to physician orders and care plans.
• Learn residents’ routines, preferences, and needs to personalize care.
• Collaborate with nursing staff to monitor resident well-being and changes in condition.
• Maintain accurate medication records and documentation.
• Support residents with daily activities while promoting independence.
