Job summary

CountryHouse Grand Island, NE is seeking a compassionate Full-Time Medication Aide to join our Agemark Senior Living community. You will help residents feel safe, supported, and cared for each day, administering medications and documenting the process according to physician orders and care plans.

This role requires strong English communication, a 40-hour Medication Aide certification, and the flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Active 40-hour Medication Aide certification required.
• Strong communication in English, both verbal and written.
• Compassion, patience, and a genuine interest in serving older adults.

Responsibilities

• Safely administer medications per physician orders and care plans.
• Accurately document medication administration and maintain records in our system.
• Observe residents for changes in condition, side effects, or concerns and promptly report to nursing staff.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living with compassion and dignity.
• Build meaningful connections with residents, families, and fellow team members.
• Contribute to a positive and supportive community environment.
