Job summary

Agemark Symphony Pointe in Elkhorn, NE is seeking a Medication Aide to safely administer medications, follow physician orders and support residents with daily living activities. You’ll join a caring, team-oriented community recognized for great workplaces in aging services.

Responsibilities include accurate documentation, observing for changes in condition, communicating with families and staff, and helping create a welcoming environment.

Qualifications

• Active 40-hour Medication Aide certification required
• Compassion, patience, and genuine interest in working with seniors
• Strong verbal and written communication
• Basic computer skills for medication tracking
• Dependable and team-oriented
• Availability to work evenings, every other weekend, and holidays

Responsibilities

• Safely administer medications according to physician orders and residents’ care plans
• Accurately document medication administration and maintain required records
• Observe residents for changes in condition, side effects, or concerns and report them promptly
• Assist residents with activities of daily living while promoting independence and dignity
• Build meaningful connections with residents, families, and team members
• Help create a positive, welcoming environment for our residents
