Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Completion of state-approved Medication Aide training program preferred.
• Minimum of 1 year of healthcare, senior living, or long-term care experience preferred.
• Active Medication Aide certification in good standing with the state.
• CPR and First Aid certification preferred.
• Must pass background check and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Medication administration: prepare, administer, and document medications per orders and protocols.
• Health monitoring: observe and report changes in residents' health and vital signs.
• Resident engagement: build compassionate relationships and encourage wellness activities.
• Safety & compliance: follow infection control practices and keep records organized.
