Job summary

Senior Lifestyle in York, ME seeks a Medication Technician to support the Assisted Living Department with safe medication administration, MAR/TAR compliance, and resident care. You will assist with ADLs, maintain MARs, and ensure accurate record-keeping in a team-focused environment.

Shifts available 2:30PM-11:00PM and 10:30PM-7:00AM; requires HS diploma or GED, 1+ month Senior Living experience, and state-certified Medication Technician credentials.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required or equivalent
• 1+ month experience in senior living preferred
• Current Medication Technician certification per state regulations
• English proficiency for communication with staff, residents and emergencies

Responsibilities

• Supervise self-administered medications per MAR/TAR and Senior Lifestyle guidelines
• Count and sign narcotics with approved personnel; report discrepancies to supervisor
• Order medications and treatments; notify responsible party when stock is low
• Verify all medications against MARs; notify pharmacy/DH&W of discrepancies
• Provide personal care (bathing, grooming, feeding) and general nursing tasks as needed
• Document information in daily logs; ensure medical charts are complete within 48 hours; respond to calls and assist residents
