Job summary

Senior Lifestyle Corporation is seeking a Certified Medication Aide for our York Harbor community. You will administer prescribed meds, supervise self-administered doses, and ensure accurate MAR/TAR records while supporting ADLs and daily living activities.

Strong attention to detail and teamwork are essential in this role. You will handle med cart management, medication storage, and charting, while collaborating with LPN/LVN/RN and the health director to deliver safe resident care in a warm,

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required or equivalent experience.
• 1+ months of experience in senior living preferred.
• Current Medication Technician certification depending on state regulations.
• English proficiency to perform job duties and communicate with staff.

Responsibilities

• Safely administer prescribed medications and treatments per MAR/TAR.
• Supervise self-administered medications and report discrepancies.
• Count and sign narcotics with approved personnel before medication keys.
• Order medications and notify when supply is below thresholds.
• Maintain proper storage and labeling of all medications and supplies.
• Provide personal care and nursing duties including vital signs.
• Document information in daily log and update charts within 48 hours.
• Attend staff trainings and assist residents with ADLs as needed.
• Daily and weekly cleaning of medication carts and restocking.
