Job summary

The Bluefields is seeking a dedicated Medication Aide to join our team. This role administers medications safely, monitors residents' health, and supports the nursing team to maintain well-being.

Candidates should have a HS diploma or GED, completion of a state-approved Medication Aide program, and at least 1 year of healthcare experience. CPR/First Aid is preferred. We offer training and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; state-approved Medication Aide training preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of healthcare or senior living experience preferred.
• Active Medication Aide certification in good standing with the state.
• CPR and First Aid certification preferred.
• Must pass a background check and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Medication Administration: prepare, administer, and document medications per orders and protocols.
• Health Monitoring: observe and report changes in residents’ health status and vital signs.
• Resident Engagement: build positive relationships and encourage participation in wellness activities.
• Safety & Compliance: follow infection control procedures and maintain organized medication records and carts.
