Job summary

Mt. Pleasant House is seeking a dedicated Medication Aide to join our team. You will administer medications accurately, monitor residents' health, and support the nursing staff in delivering compassionate care.

The ideal candidate has at least 1 year in healthcare or senior living, a high school diploma or GED, and a state-approved Medication Aide training program. CPR/First Aid is preferred, and a background check will be conducted.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; state-approved Medication Aide training preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of healthcare, senior living, or long-term care experience preferred.
• Active Medication Aide certification in good standing; CPR/First Aid preferred; background check required.

Responsibilities

• Medication Administration: prepare, administer, and document medications per orders and protocols.
• Health Monitoring: observe and report changes, record vital signs as needed.
• Resident Engagement: build relationships and encourage wellness activities.
• Safety & Compliance: follow infection control, keep carts/records organized, respond to emergencies.
