Legacy Senior Living in Rome, GA is seeking a dedicated Medication Assistant to ensure residents receive medications safely and with dignity. You will follow six rights, document actions, and maintain an organized cart while supporting resident comfort.

Qualifications

• Must be a Certified Medication Aide in the state of Tennessee.
• Experience in assisted living or healthcare preferred.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English.
• Must pass background checks and state training standards.
• Commitment to resident safety and confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications following the six rights: right resident, right drug, right dosage, right time, right route, right documentation.
• Document all medication actions accurately and promptly.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and stocked medication cart or cabinet.
• Provide treatments per each resident's service plan.
• Report medication errors to the Wellness Nurse or supervisor.
• Support dining, housekeeping, and personal care as needed to create a home-like environment.
• Communicate resident updates and changes to the Wellness Nurse and team.
