Job summary

Sunrise Senior Living in Colorado is seeking a Medication Aide/Med Tech to administer medications and treatments safely, accurately, and with dignity for our residents. You will follow the Six Rights of Medication Administration and document in MAR/TAR in real time.

This role requires a High School Diploma or GED, Medication Administration certification, CPR/First Aid, and strong communication skills. Senior care experience is preferred, and eligibility includes 18+.

Qualifications

• Strong documentation and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders.
• Observe residents during and after medication passes.
• Monitor symptoms and administer medications as ordered for symptom relief.
• Document in MAR/TAR accurately and in real time.
• Complete narcotic counts per policy.
• Maintain clean, organized medication carts and rooms.
• Follow infection control and safety standards.
• Report refusals or concerns promptly.
• Follow Six Rights of Medication Administration.
