Job summary

Paycom - ATS in the United States seeks a Medication Aide to assist residents with daily living tasks and to dispense medications under the supervision of a licensed nurse.

You will document observations, report changes promptly, maintain HIPAA privacy, and follow the service plan. State CNA and Registered Medication Aide certifications are required.

This role requires active mobility, reliability, and compassion, with a focus on resident dignity and safety.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• At least six months experience in an assisted living community preferred.
• Certified as a Nursing Assistant (CNA) in this state and Certified as Registered Medication Aide in this state.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications under the direction of a licensed nurse and document care.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living and daily hygiene.
• Maintain confidentiality and HIPAA privacy; report observations promptly.
• Document observations and care timely and accurately.
• Provide redirection and monitoring as part of the personal care plan and behavior support.
