Job summary

Paycom - ATS is seeking a Medication Coordinator to oversee medication administration for Assisted Living residents. You will ensure accurate documentation, monitor storage and inventory, and coordinate refills while upholding safety and resident dignity.

The role requires strong English communication, attention to detail, and experience in caregiving or healthcare settings. You will work closely with the care team to support residents’ health and well-being.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in caregiving or healthcare settings, preferably as a medication aide/technician.
• Excellent verbal and written English communication.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Familiarity with medication management and safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate medication administration schedules for residents according to prescribed dosages and timing.
• Document medication distribution accurately, maintaining up-to-date resident medication lists and logs.
• Monitor medication storage and inventory, coordinating refills and supplies as needed.
• Ensure safety protocols are in place to protect residents.
• Monitor residents’ health and potential side effects, and report to leadership.
• Collaborate with the care team to provide comprehensive resident care.
• Uphold residents’ dignity, privacy, and independence.
• Maintain calm, compassionate approach in challenging situations.
