Job summary

Paycom - ATS is seeking a Certified Medication Aide to deliver quality nursing care to residents requiring short-term, skilled, and long-term care. The CMA administers medications under the supervision of a nurse and in accordance with state regulations and facility policies.

Under the direction of a nurse, you will prepare and administer a variety of medications, document administration, maintain a clean, organized medication cart, follow infection control practices, and support residents with

Qualifications

• Must possess a current, active Texas Medication Aide certification.
• Must possess a current, active Texas Nursing Assistant certification.
• 2 years of long-term care experience preferred.
• 6 months CMA experience preferred.
• Strong computer literacy with standard software.

Responsibilities

• Under the direction of a nurse, prepare and administer various medications per policy.
• Document administration and any delays with explanations as needed.
• Maintain infection control practices and clean, organized medication cart.
• Assist with resident care tasks and daily living activities as assigned.
• Respect resident dignity and privacy while delivering care.
