Infinity Healthcare Consulting in Middletown, Indiana is hiring Qualified Medication Aides (QMA) to administer medications with safety techniques and sound judgment under a licensed nurse’s supervision.

Duties include administering oral, inhaled, topical, eye and ear medications, monitoring residents, recording MAR entries, and reporting responses to the nurse; requires a high school diploma and an active QMA license.

Qualifications

• Adheres to resident rights and policies.
• Understands federal and state regulations.
• Reads, writes and speaks English.
• Able to work with elderly residents.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications with safety techniques under nurse supervision.
• Administer oral, PRN, inhaled, topical, and other meds.
• Observe residents for drug reactions and report promptly.
• Monitor vital signs and document MAR entries.
• Calculate dosages and stock the medication cart.
• Report to the nurse on duty with resident responses and needs.
• Audit documentation for accuracy and timeliness.
