Job summary

Meadowview Assisted Living Center in Smithfield, NC is seeking a compassionate Medication Aide to administer medications to residents under the direction of a licensed nurse. You will follow nurse supervision and state standards, contributing to comfort, dignity, and high-quality care.

Qualifications

• Be listed in good standing on the registry as a medication aide in the state in which you work.
• Passed the QMA competency evaluation program consisting of a written test, if your state requires.
• Must be currently enrolled in a high school program or have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Must possess basic computer skills and ability to navigate through various software programs, including electronic health record software.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications to residents as ordered by the attending Physician, under the direction of a licensed nurse within the scope of practice for Medication Aides.
