Job summary

Saber Health Group is seeking a compassionate Medication Aide to join our assisted living team in North Carolina. You will administer medications to residents under the supervision of a licensed nurse, following nursing standards and facility policies.

The role requires current registry status as a medication aide, completion of QMA competency requirements if applicable, and basic computer skills for electronic health records.

Qualifications

• Be listed in good standing on the registry as a medication aide in the state in which you work.
• Passed the QMA competency evaluation program consisting of a written test, if your state requires.
• Must possess basic computer skills and ability to navigate through various software programs, including electronic health record software.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications to residents as ordered by the attending Physician, under the direction of a licensed nurse within the scope of practice for Medication Aides.
• Follow established nursing standards, community policies, procedures, and state requirements.
