Job summary

Saber Healthcare Group in Clayton, NC is seeking a compassionate Medication Aide to join our assisted living and memory care team. You will administer medications to residents as ordered by the attending physician, under the supervision of a licensed nurse, following established policies and state regulations.

Qualifications

• Be listed in good standing on the registry as a medication aide in the state in which you work.
• Passed the QMA competency evaluation program consisting of a written test, if your state requires.
• Must be currently enrolled in a high school program or have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Must possess basic computer skills and ability to navigate through various software programs, including electronic health record software.
• Previous experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications to residents as ordered by the attending Physician, under the direction of a licensed nurse within the scope of practice for Medication Aides.
• Ensure medication administration complies with nursing standards, community policies, procedures, and state requirements.
