Job summary

Good Samaritan in Bismarck, ND, cares for residents at Augusta Place, a 65-bed skilled nursing facility with an attached 16-bed Assisted Living. The Medication Assistant provides resident-centered care, administers medications as delegated, and supports daily living activities in a Christian, not-for-profit setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred, but not required.
• Prior clinical or nursing assistant experience preferred.
• Must have CMA or CNA certifications per state requirements where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Provide resident-centered nursing care and daily living assistance.
• Administer prescribed medications as delegated by a licensed nurse.
• Document outcomes related to resident care and medications.
• Monitor and record vital signs; communicate changes to charge nurse.
• Assist with transferring, repositioning, and mobility as needed.
• Support wellness and recreational programs and maintain cleanliness and order in living areas.
