Job summary

Shalom Gardens Health & Rehab in Richmond, VA is seeking a dependable Driver with medical transport experience to help residents travel safely to appointments, dialysis, and scheduled outings each day. You will assist residents with entering and exiting the vehicle, ensure timely pickups and drop-offs, and maintain the cleanliness and upkeep of facility vehicles while following all safety protocols.

Qualifications

Must have medical transport experience.
Clean driving record is required.
Valid driver’s license in Virginia.
Ability to safely assist residents, including those with mobility challenges.
Strong communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

Safely transport residents to medical appointments, dialysis, and scheduled outings.
Assist residents with entering and exiting the vehicle as needed.
Ensure timely pick-up and drop-off while maintaining a friendly, professional demeanor.
Maintain cleanliness and basic upkeep of the facility vehicle(s).
Follow all safety protocols and traffic laws at all times.
Communicate effectively with nursing staff and scheduling teams.
