Job summary

Shalom Gardens Health & Rehab in Richmond, VA is seeking a dependable Driver with medical transport experience to help residents travel safely to appointments, dialysis, and scheduled outings each day. You will assist residents with entering and exiting the vehicle, ensure timely pickups and drop-offs, and maintain the cleanliness and upkeep of facility vehicles while following all safety protocols.

Qualifications

• Must have medical transport experience.
• Clean driving record is required.
• Valid driver’s license in Virginia.
• Ability to safely assist residents, including those with mobility challenges.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport residents to medical appointments, dialysis, and scheduled outings.
• Assist residents with entering and exiting the vehicle as needed.
• Ensure timely pick-up and drop-off while maintaining a friendly, professional demeanor.
• Maintain cleanliness and basic upkeep of the facility vehicle(s).
• Follow all safety protocols and traffic laws at all times.
• Communicate effectively with nursing staff and scheduling teams.

Shalom Gardens Health & Rehab is looking for a dependable and compassionate Driver with medical transport experience to join our team! In this role, you’ll play a vital part in ensuring our residents safely arrive to and from appointments, outings, and essential services. If you enjoy helping others and take pride in providing safe, reliable transportation—we’d love to meet you!

What You’ll Do:

• Safely transport residents to medical appointments, dialysis, and scheduled outings
