Job summary

United Health Centers in Fresno seeks a friendly Medical Receptionist to be the first point of contact for patients at our health centers. You will assist with check-in, appointment scheduling and data entry with care and accuracy.

We value bilingual English/Spanish candidates and provide a supportive team, a starting hourly pay of $22, and comprehensive benefits for regular status employees. A high school diploma and medical office training are required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Completed Medical Office Assisting program preferred.
• 2 years in healthcare front desk is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and verify/update demographics.
• Schedule appointments and manage front desk workflow.
• Record data accurately and maintain confidentiality.
• Coordinate with clinical staff and providers.
• Operate basic office equipment and email communications.
• Support a positive patient experience and follow policies.
