Responsibilities
Answers phone and schedules patient appointments accurately.
Greets patients in a friendly and professional manner.
Obtains completed registration forms for each new patient.
Updates demographic profile at each patient visit.
Collects payment for services rendered.
Processes requests for patient medical records.
Reschedules patient appointments as needed.
Activates and deactivates phone service during clinic sessions.
Responsible for delivering messages to staff throughout the day.
Reviews and updates patient insurance information.
Follows established protocols for necessary authorizations.
Distributes correspondence and medical information from records.
Opens, date stamps and distributes mail.
May substitute for other office personnel as trained.
Adheres to Compliance Plan.
Any other assigned duties.
