Mountainlands Community Health Center Inc is seeking a Medical Receptionist to greet patients, schedule and reschedule appointments, and manage front desk tasks. You will enter patient information, answer questions, and coordinate referrals to specialists in a compassionate, timely manner.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED, strong customer service, multi-line phone experience, and the ability to maintain confidentiality under HIPAA.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1 year plus customer service experience preferred.
• Computer skills and software aptitude required.
• Strong communication and compassionate customer service skills required.

Responsabilités

• Greet patients and check in, verify income, update patient information, collect copays, and guide patients to waiting areas.
• Answer phones, schedule/reschedule appointments, provide reminders, and manage cancelled appointments.
• Verify insurance/payment methods and update charts accordingly.
• Create patient case records and prepare charts for dental staff as needed.
• Perform general office duties: photocopying, filing, faxing, and stocking supplies.
