AllerVie Health in Savannah, GA seeks a friendly Medical Front Desk Representative to join our clinic. You will be the first point of contact, greet patients, handle check-in/out, and support insurance and billing processes to ensure a smooth visit.

Location: Savannah, GA. Schedule: Mon–Fri with varying hours; some days longer. This role emphasizes patient-centered service, accuracy, and teamwork in a growing allergy and immunology practice.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Healthcare front desk experience preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication.
• Detail-oriented and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and EMR systems.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients warmly and manage check-in/check-out with professionalism.
• Answer calls, address questions, route calls, and take messages as needed.
• Schedule appointments and manage provider calendars with follow-ups.
• Register new patients and maintain accurate demographic information.
• Facilitate patient flow by communicating arrivals and updates to clinicians.
• Collect co-pays and payments, explain billing policies, assist patients.
• Maintain patient records through data entry, scanning, and filing.
• Verify insurance eligibility, referrals, and authorizations.
• Review billing questions and gather information to support resolution.
• Monitor office supplies and support daily administrative operations.
