Mass General Brigham is seeking a full-time Medical Assistant for our Primary Care/Internal Medicine practice in Salem, MA. You will support clinical and non-clinical patient services, including vital signs, history taking, and patient flow management under physician or APP supervision.

The role requires a High School Diploma or equivalent, MA training or 1 year MA experience, and preferred MA certification and Epic EMR experience. On-site work, 40 hours weekly, with day shifts.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
• Medical Assistant training program or 1 year MA experience preferred.
• National MA Certification via AAMA, AMT, NHA, or NCCT preferred.
• Epic experience preferred (Epic EMR).
• Ambulatory/Outpatient/Primary Care experience preferred.
• BLS certification preferred.

Responsabilités

• Interview patients to obtain medical information and vital signs.
• Show patients to examination rooms and prepare equipment.
• Record medical history and vital statistics in medical records.
• Perform general office duties and answer phones.
• Collect blood or other specimens and prepare for testing.
• Prepare treatment rooms and keep them stocked and clean.
• Sterilize instruments and dispose of contaminated supplies.
