Job summary

Humana CenterWell Senior Primary Care in Anderson, SC is seeking a Medical Assistant for an onsite outpatient clinic. You will discuss symptoms, obtain vital signs, and perform procedures under supervision, with phlebotomy and specimen collection, med/ vaccine administration, and EMR documentation.

Requirements include MA program completion with CMA/RMA credentials (or 5+ years with provider approval), high school diploma, CPR certification, and preferred phlebotomy and bilingual Spanish

Qualifications

• Completion of MA program and CMA/RMA with 5+ years experience and provider approval.
• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• CPR certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Discuss symptoms and obtain vital signs.
• Administer medications/vaccines as directed.
• Perform phlebotomy and collect specimens.
• Sterilize/clean equipment and maintain examination rooms.
• Document information in the electronic medical records system.
