Job summary

The role requires completion of an accredited Medical Assistant training program or EMT license, fluent English, and BLS within 30 days of hire. AnOffice Laboratory Assistant License in Nevada is required within 90 days of hire, with a commitment to high-quality patient care.

Qualifications

• Six months of experience in Urgent Care or Primary Care setting preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Completion in accredited Medical Assistant Training program and/or EMT license preferred.
• Fluency in English.
• BLS (AHA) within 30 days of hire.
• Office Laboratory Assistant License from the State of Nevada within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians with patient care, clerical, environmental and organization tasks.
• Schedule appointments and manage charts.
• Provide information to patients so they may fully utilize clinic services.
• Convey a positive image of the organization.
