Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; completion of MA program/externship/internship.
• EMT or Paramedic training may substitute for MA program.
• Credential maintenance with MA CEUs if credentialed.

Responsibilities

• Welcome and prepare patients for appointments.
• Collect and document patient histories, vital signs, and health information.
• Assist providers with exams, procedures, testing, and specimen collection.
• Administer medications and perform diagnostic testing as directed.
• Coordinate care and serve as a liaison between patients and providers.
• Support quality improvement initiatives and disease management programs.
