Job summary

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or GED required; Graduation from a Medical Assistant program or eligible for certification within 12 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Assist providers in patient care, examinations, procedures, diagnostic studies, treatments and dressing changes.
• Perform general administrative duties in accordance with standards and policies.
• Maintain patient safety and adhere to HIPAA, CLIA, JCAHO guidelines and department procedures.
• Obtain and record patient vital signs, assist with examinations, and support EMR documentation.
