Job summary

Mass General Brigham seeks a part-time Medical Assistant to support clinicians and ensure a positive patient experience at our Chelsea, MA site. You will greet patients, collect vital signs, prepare exam rooms, document medical histories, and coordinate with the care team to keep the workflow smooth.

Responsibilities include assisting with specimen collection, office duties, and maintaining a clean, safe clinical environment.

Qualifications

• Current CPR certification required or preferred.
• High school diploma or GED required; graduate of an MGH approved Medical Assistant program.
• 6–12 months Medical Assistant experience preferred.
• Graduate of an approved Medical Assistant program.
• Proficient with MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Welcome, interview, and assist patients while collecting vital signs and health information.
• Prepare patients, exam rooms, equipment, and supplies for visits.
• Accurately document patient information, medical histories, and test results.
• Support laboratory specimen collection and preparation.
• Assist with office duties, patient communication, and coordination with other departments.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized clinical environment.
