Job summary

Mass General Brigham is seeking a patient care associate to support healthcare providers and create a positive patient experience at 32 Fruit Street. You will welcome patients, collect vital signs, and help prepare exam rooms and medical tests.

You will document patient information, assist with lab specimen collection, and collaborate with the care team to ensure smooth operations in a busy clinical setting.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent required; Associate’s Degree in Medical Assisting preferred.
• Licenses and Credentials: Basic Life Support (BLS); CMA or National Certification preferred.
• Direct MA experience or medical field work 1-2 years required.
• Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: strong interpersonal/communication skills; ability to prioritize tasks; accuracy and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Welcome, interview, and assist patients while collecting vital signs and health information.
• Prepare patients, exam rooms, equipment, and supplies for visits.
• Accurately document patient information, medical histories, and test results.
• Support laboratory specimen collection and preparation.
• Assist with office duties and coordination with other departments.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized clinical environment.
