Qualificações

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Completion of Medical Assistant training program with certificate or 1-3 years experience as MA/EMT/certified nursing attendant or completion of Northwell Health MA training program.

Responsabilidades

• Collaborates with health care team to coordinate and implement patient care plans.
• Performs vital signs, measurements, and basic screening procedures; documents findings.
• Collects specimens and assists in specimen labeling and processing per protocol.
• Conducts daily controls/calibration of equipment and reports inaccuracies.
• Performs electrocardiograms and phlebotomy per orders; adheres to infection control standards.
• Assists physicians and nurses with procedures and patient preparation; ensures proper draping and instrument delivery.
• Maintains cleanliness and stocking of examination rooms; completes logs and equipment checks.
• Supports pre-visit chart preparation by ensuring lab results and documentation are available.
• Handles clerical tasks to ensure efficient patient flow through the suite.
