Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Medical Assisting program certificate or 1–3 years MA experience required.

Responsibilities

• Prepares treatment rooms for patient examinations and ensures cleanliness.
• Interviews patients to obtain medical information and perform measurements.
• Obtains vital signs such as height, weight, blood pressure, pulse, and temperature.
• Records findings in the medical record and informs the clinician.
• Collects specimens and performs basic lab duties as directed.
• Assists during examinations, procedures, and treatments.
• Performs sterile technique and ensures equipment is calibrated.
• Handles clerical tasks including patient registration and scheduling.
• Manages supplies and patient positioning.
