Job summary

Cano Health LLC is hiring a Medical Assistant to support physicians and clinical staff in examinations, vaccinations, and diagnostic workflows. The role blends clinical and administrative tasks to ensure seamless patient care and robust care coordination.

The MA will perform triage, collect vitals, assist with pre-visit planning, vaccinations, phlebotomy, and point-of-care testing while maintaining infection control and accurate documentation in the EMR. Travel to clinics may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience with EMR systems and care coordination.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Detail-oriented, organized, and confidentiality-minded.

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians with examinations and treatments.
• Enter and review patient data in the EMR; coordinate care.
• Prepare exam rooms, manage supplies, and infection control.
• Support care coordination, referrals, and follow-up scheduling.
