Cano Health LLC is seeking a Medical Assistant to support physicians and clinical staff in exam, treatment, and care coordination, ensuring smooth operations and an exceptional patient experience.

The role combines clinical and administrative duties, requiring bilingual English/Spanish proficiency, EMR experience, vaccines, phlebotomy, and proactive patient engagement across intake, scheduling, and referrals.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Graduation from an accredited Medical Assistant program or MA certification.
• Minimum 2 years of Medical Assistant experience.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish required.

Responsibilities

• Interview patients and document medical history and concerns.
• Measure vital signs and record results accurately.
• Administer vaccines and injections with proper documentation.
• Perform point-of-care testing and phlebotomy as needed.
• Assist with EKGs, spirometry, and imaging workflows.
• Support EMR documentation and care coordination across teams.
