Cano Health is seeking a Medical Assistant to support physicians and clinical staff in patient examinations, treatments, and care coordination. The role combines clinical and administrative duties to ensure efficient clinic flow and a high-quality patient experience.

Responsibilities include clinical tasks such as vital signs, vaccinations, phlebotomy, and EKGs, along with EMR documentation, scheduling, and care coordination tasks with front desk staff. Fluency in English and Spanish is required.

Formación

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Graduation from an accredited Medical Assistant program or MA certification.
• Active and current BLS certification.
• Minimum of two years of relevant MA experience.
• Fluency in English and Spanish.
• Proficiency with electronic medical records (preferably eCW).
• Certification in Medical Translation.

Responsabilidades

• Interview patients and document health history and concerns.
• Measure and record vital signs accurately (BP, temp, pulse, SpO2, height, weight).
• Administer vaccines and injections with proper documentation.
• Perform phlebotomy and manage specimen collection.
• Assist with EKGs, spirometry, and imaging workflows.
