Job summary

CenterWell Senior Primary Care is seeking a Medical Assistant to be the first contact for patient care, performing both administrative and clinical duties. You will collaborate with physicians and other providers, take vitals, administer vaccines, collect specimens, and document care in the EMR.

The role requires MA certification or completion of an MA program, a high school diploma or equivalent, and CPR certification, with TB screening participation.

Qualifications

• Successful completion of MA school/training program or a Certified/Registered Medical Assistant
• High school diploma or equivalent
• CPR Certified

Responsibilities

• Discuss symptoms and obtain vital signs; perform clinical tasks as trained
• Administer medications and vaccines; perform phlebotomy and specimen collection
• Document information in the EMR and support physicians in patient care
