Job summary

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required; MA certificate program or related certification preferred.
• Minimum of 1 year's experience as a medical assistant or equivalent in ambulatory care.
• Certifications (CCMA/CMA/AAMA/RMA) preferred; BLS preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians with patient care and rooming; collect vitals and specimens as applicable.
• Perform administrative duties: scheduling, charting, and handling patient records in EPIC.
• Maintain infection control and clean, prepare exam rooms and equipment between visits.
• Support front desk tasks and patient flow, including greeting patients and managing referrals and forms.
• Collaborate with care team to ensure timely and accurate billing and documentation.
